Natural Wine in Amsterdam Zuid
Zuid's wine scene centres on De Pijp, where GlouGlou was an early adopter of natural wine and is still ranked the city's number-one wine bar by regulars. Bâtard, a century-old merchant on the Koninginneweg carrying 1,500-plus references, represents the opposite end of the spectrum — classic Burgundies alongside small natural producers, not an either-or. De Nada's riverside music-and-wine concept in the Rivierenbuurt rounds out a district that ranges from serious old-world collecting to something much more casual.
