Natural Wine in Amsterdam Noord
Noord's wine scene is small but distinctive — you won't find volume here, but what's across the IJ is worth the ferry. Château Amsterdam is the Netherlands' first urban winery, making all of its wine on-site in a reclaimed warehouse rather than importing it. Chateau Karlito, a tightly curated shop from a former fashion-boutique owner, and Daxivin, an importer-only operation with no walk-in shop at all, both point to a district still finding its own identity rather than following the Jordaan's lead.
